The sun is out, the birds are chirping, and it’s the perfect time for Springtime treats. Not today. These look pretty normal and appropriate for this time of year. Well, visions are not always as they seem. Continue reading

Queen B says, “You wanna hot body?…You betta work bitch.” She’s right. I have to get back to baking and blogging. To help with that whole hot body thing, I chose this for today:
What makes these healthier than normal cookies? To start, there’s wheat germ. Don’t be afraid. Keep reading.
My new friend Genoa went back and read every single blog I’ve written. When she asked if she could help me bake, the answer was simple: no.
OMG I’m kidding. Of course I said yes. I wanted to pick something relatively easy since Genoa says she doesn’t cook or bake. I thought she was exaggerating until I found an unopened, expired bag of flour in her cupboard.

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Continue reading →
My good friends Zack and Dawn (collectively, Zawn) asked me to bake cookies to serve at their wedding reception. Oh, I’m honored!
This really meant, “Oh, I’m freaking the F out right now because I care about these people and don’t want to screw it up.”
I had to make something sparkly, because duh. After many failed attempts of spraying glitter onto cookies, I decided to go with the tried and true glitter ball.
It’s Christmas in July, so why not make a holiday cookie?
“Oh, Nate, that’s nice and all, but where have you been for the last month?” Let me explain… Continue reading →
Another log cookie. This one more complicated than the rest.
Yin-yang inspired? I wasn’t hopeful of the results. Continue reading →
Someone at work read my blog and was appalled that I didn’t have a peanut butter section. I’ve made a couple cookies with PB, and in that spirit, I went for these next.
These are in the “Kids Cookies” section, so they’re a piece of cake, right? Continue reading →
