Recipe 65: Coconut Sandwich Cookies

My new friend Genoa went back and read every single blog I’ve written. When she asked if she could help me bake, the answer was simple: no.

OMG I’m kidding. Of course I said yes. I wanted to pick something relatively easy since Genoa says she doesn’t cook or bake. I thought she was exaggerating until I found an unopened, expired bag of flour in her cupboard.

The Merging of ZAWN: My first time baking for a wedding

My good friends Zack and Dawn (collectively, Zawn) asked me to bake cookies to serve at their wedding reception. Oh, I’m honored!

This really meant, “Oh, I’m freaking the F out right now because I care about these people and don’t want to screw it up.”

I had to make something sparkly, because duh. After many failed attempts of spraying glitter onto cookies, I decided to go with the tried and true glitter ball.

Recipe 56: Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwiches

Someone at work read my blog and was appalled that I didn’t have a peanut butter section. I’ve made a couple cookies with PB, and in that spirit, I went for these next.
